If you have any general concerns about an external appointment process, please contact the human resources division of the organization conducting the process for the position and quote the job advertisement reference number.
Applicants encountering technical difficulties when applying for an external appointment process should contact the Public Service Commission (PSC) for assistance, using one of the following options.
E-mail: Please send your inquiries for Jobs Open to the Public (JOP) to the appropriate PSC Office nearest you. Remember to provide your full name and telephone number. Please note that these e-mail addresses are for questions only - do not send your résumé.
Telephone: Please address your inquiries to 1-888-780-4444.
Telecommunication device for hearing impaired and speech impaired persons: Please address your inquiries to TTY/TDD
1-800-465-7735.
The PSC will provide responses during regular business hours. Should you need access to Internet or e-mail, your local library may be able to provide you with such access for free.
If you believe that the appointment or proposed appointment may not have been based on merit, or that an error, omission or improper conduct has compromised the appointment process, you may contact the Investigations Branch of the PSC, which has the discretionary authority to investigate such issues.
You may also contact the Investigations Branch if you believe that fraud or political influence may have occurred.
