Job Description:

The Supreme Court of Canada is a general court of appeal. It reviews cases coming from the provincial and territorial appellate courts and the Federal Court of Appeal in civil, criminal, constitutional and administrative law matters. As a Guide/Interpreter, you will greet visitors, conduct guided tours while interpreting various themes and present interpretative programs to a diversified clientele. It is essential that you possess excellent oral communication skills in both English and French.

Hourly rates of pay: $17.95 per hour

Duration of employment: May 4, 2010 to August 31, 2010

Academic level: Registered in the LL.B., LL.L. or B./LL.L. program

Specialization: Civil Law or Common Law
