All previous test results are available via your jobs file. To view test results, log in to My jobs file and choose Application Status from the selections listed in the menu. If you have written one or more Public Service Commission (PSC) tests, you will be able to see the test results as well as the status of your application to specific job opportunities. This information is updated whenever you apply for a job requiring testing.
If you are applying for a career choice that requires a test that you have already written for another job posting and your test results are not available in your jobs file, you must send a request to the Personnel Psychology Centre to have the results uploaded to your jobs file.
If you have previous test results, but you would like to try to obtain a higher score, you do have the option to rewrite a test; however, there is a waiting period of 180 days that must elapse before you can do so. Should you rewrite the test before the retest period has elapsed, your result will not be valid and a new retest period will be imposed starting from the new test date. Also your new score, whether higher or lower than your previous score, will become your valid score.
Normally, the result for tests administered by the PSC are valid indefinitely. However, for the Post-Secondary Recruitment program, tests results obtained before 2001 will not be accepted.
Note: All test results are provided on-line through your jobs file. The PSC cannot provide you with any additional details or feedback regarding your test results. The tests are used for staffing purposes and not as a diagnostic instrument for your career development.
