About the Research Affiliate Program

The RAP is designed to give post-secondary students experience in research (design, execution, evaluation). Research projects must be related to the student's current degree program and must help the student develop specific knowledge and research skills.

RAP gives eligible students:

  • Fair and equal access to student jobs offered by the federal public service;
  • Opportunities to learn about the federal government; and
  • The opportunity to gain valuable experience while developing and improving their employability skills.
