Trouble Shooting
If you are experiencing problems, it may be due to your browser memory and/or disk cache being too full, or too small or both.
We recommend using the browsers Netscape 3.0 or higher and Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher.
Using HTML or special symbols throughout the application and your résumé is not recommended. We suggest you use plain text only.
Netscape 3.x
- Within the browser, click the Options menu and select Network Preferences. A dialogue box will appear. You will see buttons relating to cache.
- Select the Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache buttons. You will be able to adjust the current size of your memory cache and disk cache.
- Modify these entries to double their current size.
- Try filling out your application form. Fill in one or two fields and then click on one of the links on the page.
- When you click the Back button to return to the application form, your data should reappear if your cache adjustments were sufficient.
Netscape 4.x
- Within the browser, click on the Edit menu, and select Preferences. A dialogue box will appear.
- Click on the Advanced plus sign "+" to show the Cache option.
- Click on the Cache option.
- Click the Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache buttons. Now double the size of both cache settings and click OK.
- Try filling out your application form. Fill in one or two fields and then click on one of the links on the page.
- When you click the Back button to return to the application form, your data should reappear if your cache adjustments were sufficient.
Internet Explorer 4.x
- Within the browser, click on the View menu, and select Internet Options. A dialogue box will appear. On the General tab, you will see a section on Temporary Internet Files. Click on Delete Files.
- Click on the Settings option. A dialogue box will appear showing the current size of your disk cache. Double the size and click OK.
- Try filling out your application form. Fill in one or two fields and then click on one of the links on the page.
- When you click the Back button to return to the application form, your data should reappear if your cache adjustments were sufficient.
